 On Friday, November 13, 2020, at the Amru Rice Mill factory in Kampong Thom Province, which is one of CRF’s members, Oknha Song Saran, President of the Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF) and CRF secretariat staffs have welcomed the visit from H.E Pablo Kang, Australian Ambassador, and Mr. Gary Ellem, team leader of Cambodia-Australia Agricultural Value Chain Program (CAVAC), and his colleagues.
On November 13, 2020, at the Kampong Thom’s Stadium, Oknha Song Saran, president of the Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF), and the CRF’s secretariat staffs, have attended the event of rice seed distribution to 6650 famer’s households affected from flood, to help them in re-planting. This event is honored to have H.E Dr. Hun Manet, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodia Armed Forces, and the Commander of the Royal Cambodia Army, the highly presentative of Samdech Decho Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia. Each households received 100kg of rice seed, money, and others necessary needs.
 In the 10 months of 2020, Cambodia's gross revenue from rice exports increased by nearly USD 47 million, accounted for 15% increases compared to the same period in 2019. In total, Cambodian rice export’s gross revenue in the 10 months of 2020 reached USD 366.44 million.The total amount of 10 months’ export in 2020 is 536,035 metric tons, increased by 17.11% comparing to the same period in 2019. (Summary report of Cambodian rice export in 10 months of 2020)  
 On Wednesday, October 29, 2020, at the Khmer Enterprise (KE) Office, Oknha Song Saran, CRF’s president has attended the discussion meeting invited by Dr. Chhieng Vanmunin, CEO of KE, that the meeting is focused on the open sharing experiences, and challenges affected by the consequences happened in 2020 on agriculture, and food processing.
 On Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at the General Directorate of Agriculture (GDA), Oknha Song Saran, CRF’s president, and Mr. Lun Yeng, CRF’s secretary general, has attended the meeting to review and discuss on the on the establishment of National Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) chapter. The meeting was led by Dr. Mak Soeun, Deputy General Director of General Directorate of Agriculture (GDA).
 On October 27, 2020, at the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's office of the Embassy of the people's republic of China in the Kingdom of Cambodia, Oknha Song Saran, CRF’s President, Ms. Kim Sreyroth, CRF’s Vice President, and the head of Access to Market and Trade Promotion Executive Committee of CRF, and together with CRF’s board members and CRF’s secretary general has joint the meeting, respond to invitation from the Embassy of China in Cambodia, that the meeting focused on sharpen the ways to expand Cambodian rice export to Chinese market.

On October 18, 2020, in Ou Ta Ki Commune, Thmor Koul District, Battambang Province, Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF) brought the donations from CRF's members  and the Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) to 650 affected families, due to the flood in Ou Ta Ki commune, each family received 15 kg of rice, 1 box of noodles, Fish can, soy sauce and money 40,000 riels.
On Friday, October 9, 2020, Oknha Song Saran, President of CRF, together with Mr. Lun Yeng, Secretary General of the CRF, have welcomed Dr. Yurdi Yasmi, Regional Representative of International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) for Southeast Asia, and his colleagues, to discuss the possibility of collaboration in research and development between the two institutions in order to promote and improve.
Cambodia’s rice export in 9 months of 2020 to all market destinations, reached 488,785 tonnes, increased by 23% comparing to the same period in 2019, and received more than USD 328 million as gross revenue.
